The worst question I was ever asked as a tour guide at Sea World: "Are penguins white meat or dark meat?" I am sorry if this scares you dear penguin, but it is technically on the topic of penguins. If it makes you feel better, I deduced they are probably dark meat 'cuz of the fat and oil, and people prefer white meat, so I think you're safe. A less scary penguin fact, you ask? Did you know King Penguins have square pupils? I know... weird.

Why do we love the penguin? That's easy.

Everyone knows penguins rule! It's the whole black & white thing - the same reason I love my Siberian Huskies!

And the Penguin loves to travel to exotic places, like Affiliate Summit and lunch on outdoor patios of Denver cafe's.

What's not to love. Penguins are classy. Tuxedos were designed after them, right? After seeing March of the Penguins and Happy Feet, I learned they are dedicated to keeping that egg alive and they can dance really well. Plus I like watching them walk. :grin:

To Whom it May Concern,

I manage a pocket penguin band. Their name is the PP-Rock Funk Quartet. The big problem is there are only three penguin members. Carl, Bill and Fabio can't sing as they don't have mouths, eyes or feet. So, Carl plays the drums very well, Bill, the Guitar and Fabio is a dream on the keyboards.

For fifteen years I have been looking for the lead/singer. We have tried Jon Bon Jovi, Lisette Melendez, even John Denver auditioned. Here you can see Cartman's audition, it didn't go too well: http://www.loveaccordingto.com/argue.jpg


When I first laid my eyes on the traveling penguin, I knew my search was over. So, Fred or Francine(if she is a girl) will be the lead and sing vocals. The front 'man' of any band needs to have charisma, charm and frankly needs to look good. I have been searching for the perfect fit for a long time. I believe I have found the 'one' I had set out to find over fifteen years ago.

As soon as Fred/Francine arrives, we will begin touring and reporting our travels. I know that Fred/Francine will have a much more successful SOLO career then with the PP-Rock Funk Quartet. And I know his/her travels will be very well documented.

And now I wait for Fred/Francine to join this little family and live....

Penguins--Who else has no knees, can swim but can't fly, is as small as a Blue Fairy Penugin or as large as an Emperor Penguin, mate for life, can live in hot or cold places, never fears a polar bear but is fearful of a skua bird? noodles Penguin who inspired the adorable Artist penguin that makes me grin and giggle every time I see it ... paint smears ... feather boas ... fishing ... you and your travels have inspired so many penguin poses that bring smiles to the world and make it a better place .

Starbucks offered stuffed animal red penguins for sale at Christmas time in the Houston Texas area ... but I could not buy one ... I found it painful to even look at them ... it reminded me of how the world of the penguin is melting and endangering each and every one ... a blood red penguin was not something I could bear to have in my home on a shelf ... but in homage to the mighty penguin ... I am turning out the lights to save energy every chance I get ... I have windows at work so when not doing close up reading of Arial 6 pt in Greek and the sunshine is out in the yard ...the light is going off to save energy and do one tiny little part for trying to save the penguin's world.

And Earth Day is coming too! I expect great things from you mighty penguin for Earth Day ... a march ... a parade ... an awareness campaign perhaps ... ??? ... Please be sure to invite me to participate!

Penguin, I love you so much because you posted bail that one time even though I told them it was your car, and when you gave me the cash because I didn't realize the girls in Vegas didn't take personal checks.

Oh, and I really love you for that time that I thought it was a girl but it was really a guy and you warned me (seriously, that was hard to tell - that skirt was hawt!) and you saved me from having to ask her/him for credentials and a plumbing report. Man, THAT would have been embarrassing!

Seriously, Peng... we go way back and I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for you.
